Marine Superintendent / Senior Marine Superintendent
Experience Required:
- • Class 1 Certificate of Competency.
- • Class 2 Certificate of Competency and University Qualification.
- • Auditor ISM, MLC and ISPS codes.
- • Strong oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
- • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- • Strong organizational and time management skills.
- • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- • Ability to collaborate across business entities easily, while maintaining a drive for results.
- • Sailing Experience at the management level.
- • Experience in risk assessment & management, auditing, incident investigating and mentoring.
- • For senior role, additionally to have at least 24 months shore-based experience as Marine Superintendent.
Additional Requirements:
- • Responsible for Maintaining all Marine, Vetting standard on board assigned Tankers. Implement and maintain a safe operational standard in compliance with Total Quality Management (TQM) as well as International Marine regulations for the vessel assigned.
- • Ensure a good dialogue and cooperation with the charterers, Oil Majors, commercial operators, owners and other parties involved in the operation of the vessels. Cooperate with vessel management team regarding the marine operations of the vessels and keep the Marine Manager informed.
- • Coordinate all marine operations of vessels and act as support to the Marine Manager and Business Unit in all matters to marine operations.
- • Support the Business Units in the achievement of the company’s KPI figures.
